I joined Accenture few days back as level 9. Till now didn't get any project. I have one more offer from another company and have not told them that I joined Accenture.
Should I wait for Accenture to allot me project or shall I abscond?

How do I determine the likelihood of getting a Top Secret Security clearance? I am qualified for a number of federal jobs but haven’t applied because of an allegation of misconduct at my job five years ago. I have plenty of positive equities since then and evidence of rehabilitation for admission to the bar. I just have no idea how much forgiveness is possible in a TS security clearance.

Does anyone feel like they’re selling themselves short by working in government? I graduated from a regional law school in 2018 and clerked for 2 years before moving into a GS-13 agency counsel role in DC back in October 2020. I love the work, and I love the work-life balance even more (I rarely work more than 45 hours per week, and almost never on the weekends). For those that lateraled private practice to gov’t, what was the lag time between referral of your application to interview process?

I’ve worked as an appellate prosecutor for state government for almost 3 years, but I’m now looking to transition into a federal government agency. I have the research, writing, and even oral argument experience, but are there any other skills or topics I should highlight to be considered by an agency like the FTC or SEC?

Any general anecdotes about moving from a market-paying law firm to government? What was the experience like? Any regrets? How bad did the pay cut sting?

After completing 20 years as a Law Enforcement Officer with the Feds and on the way getting a JD and passing the Bar… trying to transition to an Immigration Attorney position… easier said than done!

Assuming personal interest in each agency’s work is equal, any benefits or advantages to joining one of the three over the others: SEC, DOJ (antitrust, market integrity, etc.), or FTC?

Is NYC currently hiring ICE General attorneys? I applied in January and haven’t seen any updates since the referral to the local hiring manager.
