any telltale signs of layoffs in tiger?
Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

Only thing that comes to mind for me is, do you have team members who consistently work longer hours than you do? I’ve always felt that a manager not only manages, but should be able to assist if one team member has too much of a load. Obviously part of being a manager is also knowing when people are slow because you need to provide more training versus they legit have too much on their plate, but I would definitely see it as a red flag if I was always the first to go home on my team. (Not suggesting this is you, it’s just one other thing to look for that you didn’t explicitly mention.)
Focus on managing deliverables and risk looking forward, invest time in your people, collaborate with colleagues and leads to get to know the big picture and translate that to work and plan ahead.
And give them freedom or flexibility to operate, trust and verify the quality; provide direction when needed without micro managing. There’s more than one way to get things done..
6 hours of my day are on my main project, the other 4 are on plus 1s. Enjoy the free time while you’ve got it, do some trainings or volunteer for something if you are looking to fill the time.
My work day is back to back calls from 8:30am to 5pm. 50% time on selling and business development. 30% on delivery (providing feedback to my teams) and rest 20% on key client calls (where my team presents the project findings to clients). Fridays are generally reserved for my internal team connects.
