My manager really likes me and I’m about to leave to go to another job. How do I go about subtly asking for a letter of recommendation for the near future when I plan to apply to business school?

I have a nephew who’s interested in coding (video games, apps, etc.) and I wanted to know if there’s any virtual programs, bootcamps, courses he can do (maybe some that can give him college credits). He’s 14 and just started high school in Atlanta, Georgia! If anybody knows anything please let me know!

Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

Losing motivation and drive as time goes on , and I’m only 27 . Nothing I’m passionate about and money just seems like it’s ever enough ($160k total comp) . I was lucky enough to be making that much at McK while solving social problems within education , Econ dev , and public health
