I have 5 YOE and advanced degrees, with long term targets of either Partner at a consultancy or CSO/CTO in industry. The F100 has the best branding, and seems like it’ll have the best WLB.
I am looking to stay a year or two, grab a promo and then jump for better comp. All roles are remote, and I recently moved to a LCOL city from VHCOL city, so the delta between the 210 and 175k salaries isn’t nearly as impactful compared to if I were still in VHCOL.
I am leaning towards the F100 role due to the fact that the brand is solid, WLB seems better than the latter two options, and the industry (Healthcare) is rather layoff resistant compared to a startup or consultancy.
Lol, what kind of low-margin industry is that F100 in
That’s not “basically strategy” it’s definitely NOT strategy for that title and comp for director level
Depending on how much you value WLB, F100 seems like better most likely. Unsure on how many times in office, travel cadence etc … so hard to comment on that
That f100 role seems really low. I'm an AD in Payroll and Labor and I'm making $195,000 plus bonus. We're not a F100 company either, but I guess it depends on size and complexity.
Yeah the recruiter mentioned the YOE I had was lower than what the job required but they took into account my degree and fit, landed a bit above median pay range listed.
I am having a hard time getting your LT goals lining up with having the best WLB in a remote role factoring in as your primary data point for picking your next role.
I’m open to in person roles as well, I just am not really trying to do the 80+ hour work weeks consistently anymore. I work in tech now and it’s amazing.

That title, YOE, and comp for the director role sounds like at UHG, where director is roughly equivalent to SC/M in consulting...
