Seems like it aligns with normal guidance:

If players want to ignore that and catch a fine from their employer, that seems ok also.
MLB rosters are ~30 players. So not a surprise there’s a few that are not on board.
Yea that makes sense. They didn’t reprimand the player who just wore the normal/non-rainbow hat.
Employees are beholden to their employers’ policies.

Provided that they don't tread on the deeply held religious beliefs of the employees and preference one group over another.
MLB is a monopoly. It's not like they can switch to a different team with different values.
They shouldn't be able to force players to endorse a certain stance, especially a controversial one. Writing a verse on the cap is as innocent of a rebellion one could do
