Does anyone have any experience with the United Chase Explorer card? Does the free checked bag apply to international flights (specifically to Europe)? If I book basic economy, would I still get that checked bag + a carry on? How does seat selection work on basic? What priority boarding group is associated with this card? I’m assuming the card alone will not make you eligible for upgrades, does the united club card do this? The explorer card is pretty cheap annually, but is this even worth it?
Anyone recently redeem Marriott points (specifically to Delta miles) and get an email saying it could take 6 months to process?

Hey everyone - I am 28 with 5YOE (2 in consulting 3 in industry) and am working towards a part time MBA at a T15 program. My current comp is 130k which I am quite happy with (having started at 52). I see posts here stating folks comp in consulting to be around 300-500k. How does one get to those numbers? Are you all in MBB or T2 firms and how did you get to that position? I was hoping to get to those numbers by 35 or 40, and was thinking of a plan to get there.
When should I start applying to full-time positions if I graduate in December 2022? I currently have an internship this summer in consulting at IBM. And last summer I interned at the Federal Reserve doing compliance and digital transformation. I don't know if I will return to IBM, but I will decide on that based on the experience I have at the internship. However in the mean time I want to explore and see what other opportunities there are. Any advice on when and where to apply for full-time?

Hey there! I work in a mid-size full service agency with a growing marketing team. We currently don't have a CD due to our size and current client portfolio, but that's a role I'd love to step into when the time is right and my management is on board with that. Any advice on how to prepare for that kind of role without changing agencies? Or anyone open to mentoring me? I'd love to learn from a CD or ACD to see what they're doing and what I can bring without leaving my team!
Have a potential freelance to full time offer coming in that I’m excited about. Small company. The project manager emailed me asking my day rate and full time salary desires but...

Ideas for reaching out to alumni on LinkedIn you didn't know well in regards to a position at their firm? I feel that if I didn't mention the position in the intro email, I would be coming of as insincere. Any one else feel this way or advice to get around this? Thanks!
Decision - I was out the door of my nationwide ins dfense firm. Was going to top local firm with a lot more clout where everything would be private pay and I’d be more on bigger exposure cases. However, my firm outmatched the new firm, made a much better bonus structure, and said I could do more work with their complex bus lit group. I’d still likely do about 50 percent ins defense but I really like the partners I work for, and I handle own cases/take depos, and get autonomy. Am I right to stay?
