Ugh, been there. Policies mean nothing if leadership doesn’t actually enforce them. I’d document everything (dates, convos, behavior) and if HR isn’t helpful, consider going higher up or even seeking external advice. No one should have to work in fear of retaliation like that

I was a controller of a company’s few years ago.. family owned and operated business being threatened by the oldest son and told not to communicate my business to the parents who owned the business and worked onsite. I was a sitting duck. My deepest sympathies for you. Keep good records.
