From the outside looking in...
They spend a lot of effort on a handful of really great projects every year, and that work is often genuinely inspiring and great.
But their day to day advertising is some of the most bland and boring yuck from any of the bigger agencies in the city.
And you need to think about which of those 2 things you're going to spend most of your time working on...

It’s true that when people believe in you, you are motivated to do better. That’s logical.
But that shouldn’t be an excuse.
You can’t blame everything on a CCO not believing in you if you’re not making great work. You are the only person responsible for your creative output. And you are responsible for making a CCO believe in you.
All creatives ‘CCO’s believe in’ had to start at the bottom. They just overdelivered and because of that they moved up instead of complaining about it.
You could message someone on LI for an informational interview. Sounds like a conversation would be more helpful.
Two days a week in the office (set days - Tuesday and Wednesday), although most teams are pretty flex with this I think if you can’t make it one week. Benefits are pretty good although no maternity leave top up if that’s something that matters to you. Culture and work/life balance very much depend on what team/clients you’re on.
Would wait and see until the merger is over. Been layoffs on both sides already.
