An old boyfriend's (Indian Telugu guy) mom packaged and sent him pickled chicken and another package of pickled shrimp. It was not sent cold, but it was professionally sealed and air-tight upon arrival. My white self thought who the heck pickles meat/fish. But oh my god, it was some of the best food I ever sunk my teeth into. It was incredibly spicy (I can handle very spicy foods) with outstanding flavor. His mom was vegetarian BTW—she cooked meat for her family—which makes her non-veg cooking even more impressive. I know, not a relative, but I still think of this from time to time over 10 years later

What are some of the best consulting firms for digital strategy roles? Looking for a change and was wondering which of the T1/T2 firms have digital practices in Canada. I have applied to ATK and McK. BCG is working to establish their presence in Canada but their team is focused on establishing top down. Bain doesn’t have digital focus. Can anyone shed some light on other T2 firms?

Completed 4 rounds at @microsoft 3 were technical .. 4th was kind of AA where interviewer was senior and asked some normal questions(where do you see yourself in 5 years, greatest achievement).

Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

So squirrels decided to eat my engine harness (thanks Honda for your eco friendly wiring).
I got it fixed but the acceleration still feels sluggish even when slamming the acceleration on sport mode. It’s a 2017 Honda Civic turbo and used to have a pretty fun acceleration. Any ideas what could be the culprit or where to look? Things like bad ECU/ messed up turbo/ air leak?

As it’s been getting colder I’ve been dabbling in soups. This is a brie and mushroom soup paired with balsamic onion & mushroom toast. It was super tasty and really hit the spot. It can also be used in place of cream of mushroom from a can in recipes if you’re looking for a different taste.
