Dear friend, if you want to grow fast in your career, you will need to make your basics of Design stronger. Tools are just medium of creating, the actual growth comes from knowledge, observation and experience. Do some online foundation courses on fundamentals of UX and UI. Later, you can learn Figma, XD and other tools with the help of Youtube also.
And i have 2 yoe in different tech
Take a course. Google Ux Design course from courseera. It will help you understand the basics properly and get a better paying job.
Yes, It is very good. Need to practice more while learning.
Buddy. I'll give you a direct answer unlike others in the comment section. If you want to create illustrations and icons on your own, learn Illustrator. If you want cool looking animations in your design that exceed Figma's capabilities, learn After effects. In my opinion, After effects wins compared to illustrator as most of the icons and illustrations can be bought online. But i suggest you to learn either Webflow or Flutter. Extend yourself as a low code Designer.
