What's the best meal you've had in a production? I'm currently eating super dry tacos ( I didn't even know bad tacos existed), and feeling so reminiscent of this one time we had Caribbean food for lunch and the way it changed the entire crew's impetus to get to work after. Food really is super important for productions. I wish it was given more importance!

Is anyone finding seasonal work for the holidays, even part time? I'm considering it. Would be a blow to my pride but that's becoming less and less important as I slowly spend my savings. Best ways to get over your own ego and take what's on offer?

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
