I was at Ogilvy when they won they IKEA pitch.
The entire pitch room was redone in IKEA furniture.
They built an entire furnished house didn’t they with IKEA? . In the auditorium room.
We pitched a very famous retail brand at a strip club the night before the actual pitch with shots of Jager and gifted the potential clients money for the VIP rooms. We won the pitch. Not a joke.
Walmart big pitch meeting in Tx.
An agency pitch team drove from nyc to tx in an RV camper, only staying in Walmart parking lots, eating food from Walmart and wearing using Walmart clothes etc. they filmed it documentary style and edited along way to deliver a polished film of it when they arrived at meeting. Or something like that it’s been a while and I was only peripheral
I was at an agency that was pitching Volkswagen. They took apart a vintage VW bug, elevatored the pieces up to their 11 story office, and rebuilt in the lobby. They didn’t win, but should have.
While pitching a military-themed video game, we once dressed an account exec in army surplus gear, flew him to their offices to deliver the RFP in person, in an ammunition box.

In Brazil, they built a burger king in the agency and served the clients whoppers. Another one, they flew to Chile where the car they were pitching was available and drove it all the way back to Sao Paulo, arriving at pitch presentation in the cars
I was at Mediacom and helped win the Anheuser-Busch Inbev account.
We held our pitch meeting at a bar, with the entire team involved in the pitch downstairs having a drink to cheer the client as they walked out.
I pitched a large book seller and we lined the boardroom with shelving and books and brought in lounge chairs and coffee tables. Was pretty cool.
