Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

Believe it or not, the highest temperature in Miami is 100 degrees on July 21, 1942. The heat index can soar over 100 degrees more often. You'd think that Miami would be hotter than that, what with being one of the nation's southernmost cities. I'm sure you've heard the Floridians tell you that even if Arizona's temperature is 110 "it's a dry heat, so it's not as bad as our temperature and high humidity." Just remind them that the temperature inside their oven is a dry heat too, but they wouldn't want to live there.
The heat index is really what matters. It's more than just a number, when you are out in the high humidity it drains your body. It can feel quite unhealthy to be outside, and if you want to do something like work in your garden you need to schedule it for early in the morning.
Compared to Arizona you honestly will probably never think it is that bad. I have never lived in AZ but I hear the heat it can be over 120 degrees and is miserable during the sumemr time.
Havent been in a 100+ in the desert in a while but youre definetly cray af imo. 95 here is way worse than 105+ in a desert climate imo. You can still get cooler by sweating there. I feel like the shade differential is also bigger (functionally) in those climates.
It's like comparing a dry sauna to a steam room. A dry sauna at ~150+ is fine, a steam room at >~120 will fuck you up quickly.
In late August/September it gets into the high 90s with high humidity. Where are you a yoga instructor?
Follow up: if you're a yogi, for bikram, 105 indoors here must feel hotter than 105 in a dry climate no?
