Hello Fishes, please let me know how are projects in BCMA department under ICG group in city bank. I have an offer from city which I have not yet accepted considering many negative reviews of work culture in City. However HR said I am not sure about other departments but you can check for BCMA dept with friends or on LinkedIn. Please help.

You need to find the right team at Ogilvy. Some teams are killing it with work and culture. Long hours are a fact about this industry but all I’ll say is Ogilvy is far better than other agencies. I left a while ago and tbh I regret it. Have been working weekends and so burnt out at my current agency. If you negotiate well at ogilvy take the offer. Unless you want to go in house.
I left several years ago but the culture was pretty bad when I was there-- long hours for everyone, low pay comparatively, no bonuses, morale was bad and people were generally not team players. Other teams might have been different than mine but it was not a great environment for me
The fact that we hear so little might speak volumes
Know a few creatives there who are very overworked by leadership they don’t like
It's well past its very old glory days (as are most large agencies). Morale is super low and the culture is non-existent. Mean girl cliques and survival vibes. Despite that, there are some real gems working there. Will they be enough to get everything turned around? I dunno.
Worst agency culture I’ve experienced. Everyone feels so distant. Leaders are fake. The good thing is you work with a lot of smart and talented people though.
