I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @
Got an offer for a sales applications manager role at Cisco and a Strategic AE role at Amazon - both are basically the same pay (130~ base, 220 OTE)
I don’t have any friends at either company so I was curious if anyone has experience and can shed some light on culture/ work life balance to help me make a decision? Thanks for the help guys!

Honestly you will have the same opportunity in a year - I would stick it out, Hubspot is a strong product so you shouldn’t have trouble selling. Will only make you a better rep when/if you do jump to SFDC later.
I disagree. You won't have the same opportunity in a year - you'll have a better opportunity.
Hubspot is a great place to work (or so I've heard), and every year of experience means you're having a better conversation when you're making your next move.
Yeah ^ hub spot is a great name. plus you may burn bridges if you jump. But doesn’t hurt to speak with salesforce at the same time and see
I think HubSpot will only continue to grow as a company whereas it feels like Salesforce is pretty much capped in terms of innovation
Listen, I think Salesforce can be a fit for anyone who wants to sling SaaS.
It's hard work and not everyone makes it, but if you can you won't get a better big company experience in any industry.

See if Salesforce willing to pay a premium and if so go for it! Market is hot and if they money is there and it fits what you want could be intriguing
What’s “premium” in your eyes these days?
Speak with them. Have the conversation. You're not committed to anything before you sign, and you can always back out.
Having conversations means you get a better understanding of the market and your worth, and you become better at having interviews.
Be transparent with the fact that you've just joined Hubspot and you're not actively looking to jump, but you're open for the conversation, and they can make the decision to proceed or not.
Do you mind sharing your OTE? I'm currently a Salesforce AE in the SMB segment. Super curious.
