Hi Fishes,
I resigned from TCS in August and in another 18 days it's my LWD with TCS, now i got call from my lead saying they will provide canada onsite opportunity and he said he has multiple projects at onsite which he can give me, some are saying it's just a gimmick to retain you nothing else, my DM asked me to say yes or no by tomorrow so that he can start the process he said once i get approval mail then only i can take back my resignation. Do you think i can believe my DM? Tata Consultancy Infosys
What is the slary range for level 25?
Larsen & Toubro Infotech Is it good time to join Cognizant now for Coimbatore location considering too much attrition in recent times along with many policy changes and do they have enough projects or will there be any chance of layoffs if we don't find any projects for our skill(Tableau in my case)? I have another offer with LTI, Coimbatore for same salary but i prefer CTS more than LNT. Cognizant Larsen & Toubro Infotech

When I interviewed for my DAP job, they did ask me for my GTM plan and I did a presentation to a bunch of senior partners. So in my head what you’re suggesting is standard.
I would create one if for anything to get you organized when you articulate your business case to them. In my case, writing it down clarified for me whether I had a reasonable shot at making it rain and was a guiding document for me to establish myself. I wouldn’t have joined if I hadn’t felt I had some sort of personal strategy and roadmap. That was three years ago now and so far so good.
Good luck!
Helpful. Thanks!
Same thing I tell my SDs up for partner. Make the deck. Craft every sentence of it. Then very likely show it to no one. The value was in crafting your tight, compelling message, knowing your facts and figures, and being clear on how to convey it.
I have even found that jumping on a whiteboard to seemingly off the cuff lay out your strategy, but knowing exactly what your diagram will look like (because you did it in PowerPoint already) can be powerful.
Thank you!
1000%. What do you do when a client asks you to pitch? You pitch. PPT is always involved.
I lost out on a great opportunity last year because I thought I was the obvious candidate. The dark horse came in w a killer pitch (which they shared with me!).
She won because she hustled.
Now I am a bitter old white dude going MAGA 😄
OK, not really - we used to work together and she is awesome. But the point is I did not treat the process like a street fight w MBB competitors.
You want the job? You go all in.
FYI - I am doing just fine. At a great firm that is a better fit. But, losing sucks. Losing because you didn’t do the work really sucks!
