If they are tequila people, I can not recommend enough getting a cristallino, hornitos makes a really good one. There are many others, though. It's actually an anejo, or aged, that has then been filtered, which removes the filter and changes the flavor. It's fantastic. You get the depth of an anejo but the freshness and crispness of a blanco.

Booze for covering maternity leave?
My firm’s maternity leave policy is pretty generous (6 months) and he’s doing a lot of extra work and dealing with extra headaches to cover for me, so I want to get him something nice. I know he likes tequila and mezcal so it seemed like a possible nice thing to get him. I’ve covered 4 parental leaves in the past and would’ve really appreciated something like that.
(I’m a partner and he’s a slightly more junior partner, so there aren’t really concerns about gifting up).
Shit all I got from covering someone's maternity leave was an SSRI script to address the anxiety and make it so I could sleep.
