I was always sour about it because I would be the one coming up with a solution, and she would present it to the larger team. Unfortunately, my manager also has a personal preference for her, so he never could see the problem there. We interviewed for the same role at a large tech company I got an offer but she didn’t. And my offer was 2 levels higher…

I’ve been with my company for 4 years and I’m thinking about applying for a new job. For references, I would like to use my coworkers but I also don’t want to bring up the fact that I’m applying to other places.
