When is it too close to busy season to put in your two weeks? I’m currently looking for a new job but haven’t had much luck. If I do find something new I want to keep a good relationship with my current firm so I set a soft deadline of thanksgiving as the latest I can put in my two weeks so I can give them time before busy season to hire a replacement, but I’m wondering if I can push that back to mid December? I’m a tax senior in big 4. Which role in the industry has a better career trajectory in terms of growth and pay: senior accountant or senior tax accountant? I do a lot of tax provision and starting to find tax interesting but I’m not having a lot of luck finding openings for in house tax roles.
