Not this year. Trump wrecked the business climate. So much winning.
Why?
Will not improve until Trump is out of office. Too much uncertainty.
The market doesn’t like uncertainty - kinda hard to invest/build/grow business when your operating costs change wildly at the daily whims of a single person. I suspect we won’t see meaningful recovery until 1) business can go back to being able to estimate their costs at least a year out, and 2) prices/inflation/tariffs remain at levels that business and customers can manage to pay without having to reduce their spending too much.
We were in a steady upward trajectory… And then… lol
They'll go for Trump first. The others will be tried when he's out of power. The individual Libertarian party groups have started calling for his impeachment now, so they're gathering bipartisan support already.
What "market" are you talking about?
Can’t say for sure, but it certainly won’t improve so long as companies continue to outsource and automate good paying jobs while government is silent/facilitates. If in the U.S., one could consider re-skilling to a manufacturing job this administration is focused on bringing back, but I’m not sure it would be at a livable wage and I suspect many of those jobs would soon be taken by robots as well. The only answer is to ensure you build and maintain skills that are in high demand, and that are difficult to outsource or replace with AI.
It won’t.
IRS head seat changed three times this week.
You see the market
And trump has nominated a a buffoon to be the permanent commissioner
“Markets continuously bad since 2022” 1- that’s not accurate at all!!!! The V shaped recovery post pandemic was insane for many investors - like bonkers bc it also caused novel technological advances/pockets of investments -ie Zoom just to name one to erupt.
2- - the markets were in about a 15 ish year bull run since the 2008-9 housing crisis bc as I stated the pandemic caused a significant market correction but not a recession - Yes we had corrections and down turns but while the markets had shown crazy growth over the past decade - the moron more than half of you voted for not only caused this current crisis but exacerbated what may have been possibly several more years of upward bullish growth overall . Hard to say really mainly due to imho one thing AI!!!
This tariff shit -if not walked back will absolutely change the way the free markets operate, grow, and who does the operating and growing . Only a simpleton like trump who idk maybe thinks you can claim bankruptcy on the country /world since he did that three times with his failed business ventures -thinks that using bully tactics a la tariffs will make the US a more powerful more wealthy country . You might be able to temporarily get smaller weaker nations to run to the negotiating table but it will not do anything to get china for ex -who is not only a proud nation - they can sustain hardship for much longer than US bc they (the Chinese people) are more accustomed to sacrificing for the good of the state for long periods of time.
Not that Trump can read, but someone should try to explain to him what the Chinese endured during WW2. They can easily outlast the cowardly slob.
The legal job market has been pretty bad at most points since 2007. There are too many people competing for a relatively small number of jobs.
