Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

You really can’t. Many companies are fishing and trying to stay relevant. In this case, I feel your sentiment as building rapport with recruits plays a major part in trust and their willingness to work with you. This was one part of the job that was difficult to swallow, but there are some things you can’t change.
It sounds like you're stuck. I know it sucks posting fake job listings, but if we don't do it, our employers are going to find someone who will. Sometimes, when you work in HR, you have to do, what you have to do.
You shut up and do it anyway. Assuming you want to keep your job, that is. Don't get me wrong, this would not sit right with me either - it's a complete waste of applicants' time and effort. But I see no real way for you to push back when it's coming from the top.

I don’t really know, I’d just stay quiet and carry on doing as I’m asked to.
What is the reason for companies to do this?
I agree. This is so unethical. It just goes to show how skewed the system is. HR is a noble profession, but it doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
