Job has up to 80% travel PwC
How is typically life for these positions requiring travel? This is for a SWE position.
Currently work with clients is remote as stated by the recruiter. If work is currently feasible through virtual means, will there be flexibility to choose to travel for this position?
I have an offer with PWC and have a family. I would prefer to be with my family.

Good move
Most likely due to conflict in interest
Agree. I’ve seen many partner’s kids intern at other firms because of this.
If you were the CEOs son, would you think joining EY would be a good choice? I wouldn’t
I see
Don’t think they’re ever allowed to work for EY though. So not a huge deal
Not for execs. My OMP’s son works for the firm and can’t be in assurance or the same office. Carmine and Kelly’s kids cannot work for EY at all.
As a rule of thumb, Children of CEOs generally NEVER join their parent's company.
They aren’t allowed to be at EY due to his fathers position. We have something like at our firm where our managing partners kid has to be at another firm.
I actually don’t think it’s true that managing partners can’t have their kids here. I know folks that were here and their parent was a managing partner. I think they just had to be in a different group

and low performer
That's what usually happens.
Following in mom's footsteps....not surprising really
Ok
Does that make EY a customer of PwC?
If you keep trying, you will eventually make sense
What service line is the kid in?
What kind OP?
Why would a CEO or partner let their kid join public accounting in the first place lmao
Maybe he already has enough emphatic leadership at home and does not want any more of it at work
