There’s not much in midtown east so don’t live there, even though it might be convenient to get to work.
Either live on the upper east side (more residential) or lower east side/east village (more party) and take the 6 to work
or live around Hudson Yards (not much around there either but you can get a good deal right now) and take the 7 to work
or live in LIC and take the E to work
I mean... I work in midtown east and live in turtle bay 👀 the sleep I save by walking to work and not dealing with subways is worth every penny and I'm right near gc and the highway so it's a quick train or Uber to wherever people are trying to go on the weekends
Midtown east is a nice place to live. Less stuffy than UES and easier to get to lower Manhattan. A lot of older people who have been in NYC for a long time / still has a neighborhood feel during COVID.
Any where on the east side
How old are you? What hoods in other cities do you like?
25, and I’m fond of Crown Heights, Prospect Heights and anything north of the UES
