My experience at ghSMART has been this. Although, you can choose how much you work so if you want to work more than mbb you can (and will get paid for it too). Most of my colleagues wanted more flexibility for family, etc., but enjoyed advisory and specifically talent topics. You’ll get significantly more top of house client exposure too. I often reflect that I’d be out of consulting if i was still at mbb because it would not fit into my family life but that i can have both here. Suggest you check it out.

It was one of my awesome ghSMART colleagues. And it’s true. If you want MBB level impact and comp but you want wayyyyyyyyyyy more control over your time, choose freedom and flex at our culture. Take a shot. 1 in 500 hired. Top 25% rated (eg VS or D at McK) MBB are 95% likely to succeed here if hired, historically. DM me if you have Qs.

none. the whole point of MBB is the grind which pushes you to be efficient. But you can do into a Deloitte that is not up or out and chill a bit more. I d suggest your find intellectual stimulation outside of work. Best path
