Hi Guys, need help from you
I interviewed for tcs for SAP function Consultant and cleared technical as well as managerial round on same day. Next day I received mail from HR that I have been shortlisted and require to submit all the documents.
My CCTC is 21 LPA ( 19 fixed) and I put my expectations as 27 LPA (30 percent hike on Current CTC), YOE- 5.8 years till now and then need to serve 3 month NP ( till joining 6 years)
Which designation should I ask to TCS HR?

WLB and Job Security are a myth and WLB is completely absent in Deloitte.
Can you tell me why job security is myth?
Earning the margin is becoming difficult now. Clients are now more "IT" aware and getting long term deals (earlier companies used to sign multi year deals easily but now max is 18 months) is challenging. Companies are moving to Fixed Bid mode more aggressively and cutting down on senior resources. Senior means not just 10+. In Cognizant, accounts are being pumped with freshers and associates and BU heads are forced to get them billed. Well in order to do that you need to release a few other resources right. BU heads will be forced to maintain a pyramid.
The skillset landscape is changing and not everyone is able to cope. So people with redundant skills are let loose. In Cognizant during the infamous pandemic firing season many mainframe resources were let gone. They were the first to face the axe. I knew many people who were good resources but didn't/couldn't reskill to other skillset. Not everyone will be able to keep reskilling themselves.
Because of this now nobody are willing to join cognizant even though they are giving more and more offers..
True but eventually other service based IT companies also will follow the same pattern. All big companies are public listed companies and they will be under pressure to show year on year profit improvement. So job cuts will be unavoidable.
