As things start to open up fully, some of my institutional clients are sending notices that we are expected to do X activity over zoom from here on out (things we used to do in person). The short: Would anyone be up for starting regular virtual co-working sessions? I’m thinking 2-3 rounds of [5 mins to set intentions : 45 mins of work : 10 min break]. The long: One technique I’ve found to stay focused is “body doubling,” i.e., having another person present while you’re working. I’ve had some success replicating this over Zoom/Google Meet. Everyone works on their own thing and stays muted during work blocks, but videos stay on. It reminds me of studying in the library vs at home

StockX shipment notification shows my Nike’s coming from Hong Kong. Should I be worried they’re fakes? (China is where some real ones are made, and some fake ones). They say they’re products are shipped to them and verified but the DHL tracking shows their path direct from Hong Kong to me in USA.
