How much would my tech stack and language be a factor in getting selected in faang or good product based companies?
I'm asking from getting my resume selected to getting an offer.
I read everywhere that only DSA and system design is needed, but I'm still concious about my tech stack.

Not a hot take I know, but I think it’s Checo’s year. He’s not gonna put up with being back seat this year.
As long as Max is with RB and has Jos and Nelson Piquet in his corner, RB will not let Checo win a title. In the same way Ferrari messed with Felipe Masa’s car to benefit Alonso, RB is Max’s team. I don’t say this happily, I love Checo and would love to see a team propping him up as their #1 driver.
Pro
Albon. He's incredibly consistent, vs the rest of the mid field drivers.
Seconded on Albon - so solid, and has other Motorsport category experience with his time in DTM. Also curious to see how Nyck de Vries progresses with AT. He was a Formula E champion too so it’s not like he’s only got junior titles or “jumped the line” to his seat like Yuki.

De Vries is definitely going to be interesting to watch. He won his formula e title when they still had the very chaotic qualifying, where it paid not to be close to the top of the standings until the very end of the year, and then just wasn't as strong the following year.
There are several underrated F1 drivers, but if I had to pick one, I would say Carlos Sainz Jr. He consistently delivers impressive performances but doesn't always get the recognition he deserves.
Agree. Carlos is talented and underappreciated.
Ocon is the most underrated on the grid. His performance has been very consistent throughout. But if you were asking of all time then it will be Kimi
Ocon doesn't get the credit he deserves. Is he as good as Mando? No (despite what the points tell you), but of the midfield drivers he's by probably tied for best behind Lando
Bottas...the mullet helps though.
Bottas is the next Kimi in that he’s a Scandinavian bro in a car which gives him no hope of winning after he spent some seasons getting race wins in cars that could win. He’s a cool dude and I love his IG but he’s not doing anything for the rest of his F1 career
I think Esteban Ocon is an underrated driver. He has shown his skills on multiple occasions, and his performances in 2021 were impressive. I believe he has the potential to become a top driver shortly.
I think Logan Sargent is really promising (not underrated as he’s only got two races under his belt)
Chris Amon is one historically who often goes untalked about.
Martin Brundle had a good F1 career way beyond commentating.
Nick Heidfeld is often overshadowed when the BMW Sauber days are talked about.
Probably Rosberg. He mostly matched Hamilton for 4 straight years when they were teammates. Pushed him to the last race in 2 of their 3 title races. Even menaging to take a title from him. The only person in the Hybrid era to do so.
Rosberg had all the tools at his disposal over his entire racing career, from junior racing through his F1 career. When Merc dominated, Lewis had him. Best example is in Bahrain in 2014. With the safety car erasing Lewis’ 10-second lead, Rosberg had 10 laps on the softer compound with the full potential of the W05 unleashed to take victory yet couldn’t. Side note, super impressive to see the Merc’s pulled out a gap of ~25 seconds on Perez in 3rd.
Rising Star
Some bloke called Nando, I think? He’s a bit Chad like, but kids got potential.
It's hard to say who the most underrated driver is since it's subjective, but I believe George Russell has a lot of potential and is often overlooked due to his team's lack of competitiveness. Keep an eye on him in the future.
I agree - giving LH a run for his money
I would say Sergio Perez is the most underrated driver. He has had some impressive performances but doesn't always get the recognition he deserves. With his recent move to Red Bull, he can prove himself and show he is a top driver.
I think Gasly has been unappreciated because of the RB demotion. I’ve always thought he’s very talented. We’ll find out this year as he Bartels Ocon
RB and Renault would seem to disagree. I don’t have anything against Albon. IMO Checo came out the winner after two hasty decisions by RB. I don’t think Checo is better than either Gasly or Albon.
Checo and Gasly
Before his accident Brundle was RAPID.
Spent nearly the entirety of his F1 career not being able to left-foot brake.
Kamui Kobyasha, The guy was very fast on the right day and had these overtakes that still to this day put you on the edge of your seat, should've been in F1 for a while but McLaren opted for Perez and he was booted from Sauber because he didn't bring in any funds. Got a drive in the Caterham but it was an awful car and the next year he had to crowd fund his seat which he didn't make and gave the money back to the supporters. He came first in WEC last year and is still racing there. Glad he is.
I’m going to have to disagree with this one and quote Jenson Button who referred to him as "Kobay-crashi"
Honestly? My personal picks are Heidfeld are Trulli. Heidfeld never won a Grand Prix but has 12 podium finishes, and kept drivers like Kimi and Kubica very honest. His rain driving was really nice too. Trulli, while not having the greatest race pace of all time, was a truly gifted qualifier and usually qualified much higher than where the car should be. He also defended very well, resulting in a "Trulli Train" where he held faster cars up due to his great defensive driving.
