Why do so many companies make you sign something to waive your right for litigation, that you can only solve legal issues through arbitration? Is it to avoid a long, expensive legal process or is it to avoid responsibility for bad behavior altogether?

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
