Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

You are waiting too long. The hiring process is drawn out. Candidates are scared. And any delay with no communication makes it feel like we're getting ghosted.
Stop taking your time with candidates.
Just as a general concept, everything about getting a job takes too long. And recruiters have a horrible reputation for reaching out, talking a good game, and then ghosting people. If you endeavor to be different than the stereotypical recruiter, you may find success at it. It seems like the bar is pretty low, tbh.
It definitely happens to the rest of us. Half the time my company takes too long and I am at a stand-still. It usually isn't because I waited too long but rather the company took too long to make a decision and get back to me.
I’m still available! Or, wait…what are you trying to say? 🥺
Ok, now seriously. This “all the best candidates” pov is lazy. Do your job. Find people. Give them work. Plenty are out of work. There is no such thing as “all the best candidates.”
