Why do the rudest customers always come in when we're about to close for the day and make unreasonable demands? I was getting ready to close my register last night when a man brings an item to check out. I rang it up and he said the price was wrong. He pointed to the clearance rack and said he found it there. He didn't, but we still have to honor that price. Then he went off on me, saying I wasn't doing my job right. Sir, you need to learn some manners.

Never ceases to amaze me how some people act. Always over the most simple things too. I always wonder how they live the rest of their life when they have these kinds of interactions with complete strangers. More people are nice then not, but those bad ones really bring you down!

This seems to always be the case. I honestly feel like its because people who are going to talk to you all crazy and rude are the type of people who don't care if you are about to close or not because they have no respect for other peoples time.

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.
