In addition to entering times of economic instability, you are living your first Christmas, this gets very crazy these days.
Because the logistics department is like the villain, it never rests, and even less from October to January, they are even crazier months, what's more, many people say that they don't have a normal Christmas thanks to that.
Welcome to the real world, people sometimes believe that our job is just to track a package, let the game begin MUAHAHA.
And surely the next 8 months is also a matter of getting used to it friend, be patient that when a company works like this it is good for you soon you will not be entry-level because you will learn a lot very quickly.
The best thing about workplaces like this is that you learn to work under pressure, which makes your work time go by quickly, I know you will enjoy it in the long run.
It all depends on the eye with which you look at it, remember that you are entry-level, I would have loved to be entry-level and have the possibility of being in a hectic environment so I would have learned a lot about many things quickly, I had the entry title for almost 2 years thanks to the fact that the pace of work was very slow.
Working long hours is unfortunately a common occurrence in the logistics industry, particularly for entry-level employees. Depending on the company, it's not uncommon for employees to work upwards of 50 hours a week, if not more. This can be especially difficult when you consider that most logistics positions involve physical labor and require attention to detail. It can be taxing, both mentally and physically.
I’ve been in the logistics business for a little better than 25 years, and the best description I’ve ever heard has been “the freight business happens at night and on the weekends, so get used to it.”
