Just passed my SHRM-CP. I paid for this myself and, TBH, the company I’m with seems a bit “on the rocks”. Looking for a remote position (who isn’t?). My question is this - should I tell my current employer that I took the SHRM exam and passed or let it ride? My direct manager is a major micromanager who is saving herself and her “special friend” from an impending disaster, she lies and is unethical. AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

I know there are is no scientific way to classify firms into tiers, but also it is clear that some firms are very strong in some regions and barely known in others.
