People say I'm weird, but it's always been my dream to become a truck driver just like my dad. It's not the most glamorous job out there, but it was enough for him an it's enough for me.

Nothing weird about wanting to be a truck driver. I love being on the road, so getting paid to do that is a dream come true for me.

Who's calling you weird for that, friends or strangers? Either way, that's not a very well-thought-out opinion. Goods have to get from one place to another somehow, and I'd rather those trucks are being driven by people who want to be behind the wheel

There's zero shame or weirdness about driving trucks. Everyone has different passions and aspirations. Lucky you for finding something that makes you happy :)

Hey it's not everyone that gets to have their dream job, I'm happy to hear you find joy and satisfaction in driving trucks

That's awesome. Not everyone has to be a CEO or have some prestigious job. We wouldn't get very far as a society if it weren't for the people who are willing to take on these types of roles and keep things running smoothly

So, I've been thinking alot and did quite some research but would really love some insight (Accounting vs Fund Accountant)
As a newbie to accounting (completed my graduation and am currently halfway through ACCA), I've worked 3 years in accounting and account operations (AR, AP, Reconciliations, accruals, prepayments etc) and wanted to check out the other side of the coin in Finance.

I recently came across a role of Fund Accountant and wanted to really know what the day to day work looks like
