Offshoring and H1B
Most of what you call cyber is just professional services BS. Clients are looking for value. It is not just with Cyber.
Consultants became too expensive. Expense management is the buzzword at the moment.

Personally i also see too many people claiming to be cyber gurus etc but they are terrible (I’ve had to explain to someone how paper assessments don’t stop me deploying kali linux and other tools and taking over their cloud) - then he kicked me off the project 😂

Cyber is becoming something you throw into the deal rather than it being the deal
Im seeing much fewer pure cyber RFPs.
Cyber consulting teams are starting to go to market with other consulting domains.
The cyber value prop is being pushed back by wider transformation efforts, cyber insurance, much higher risk appetites, offshoring, and tech trend shifts
Does it have to take another black swan event to get the c-suite back to the table?
BA1 What if I can help the CISO massively reduce their TCO if they outsource the blue team? What if I can help them meet their objectives without even needing a blue team? What if they dont need to increase spending on their blue team to see the targetted ROI?
As long as CISOs keep taking the path of least resistance, we'll never be able to get them back at the table, and they will continue to miss out on opportunities
