Why is it so hard to find a job?! I have over 7 years of finance experience and I cannot find a job making over 135k. I have probably applied for 250+ jobs and got about 3 calls back. All first round phone screens then no follow up. Even with recruiters. It's beyond frustrating! Thankfully I have a job, but I really need to make a freaking change!

Any thoughts on how do we deal with an incompetent boss who you dont look up to and have no trust that you would ever get credit for the work you would do for him/her? Given that changing the boss is not an option.

Question: I have a client who started a restaurant. He leased the land and bought shipping containers where he spent money contracting out to turn them into bars. I’m having a tough time determining how to depreciate this! First thought was leasehold but he’s not making improvements to a structure...he owns the structure! But nonresidential real estate at 27.5 years doesn’t make sense either as it’s not a brick and mortar building. Curious on others thoughts! TIA

Anyone else finding it very difficult to get any enjoyment out of account management these days? Any coping tips?
