Because you are getting work because your client trust EY, not you.
EY handle client from start to end project, bringing client to EY is not that easy. There is whole ecosystem, where partners had made inital investment to set up team and they are payed in profits not salary.
Also we see that EY GDS take part of money from main EY. So you are being used for charging by GDS, orginal amount will be lot more than what you saw.
You can just ask for pay rise, orr open your own company but org will hire you so that they can earn lot from you. I too had same thought as you long back, but this is what it is

You might be underpaid but you cant compare the way you are doing.
Also client interviews are so easy dude, any one can work with top clients being in EY and one can rarely crack there actual interview for full time employment. Eg google has so many contractor, can most of them be hired on Google payroll .. NO

Find a new job and switch, I guess EY has shorter notice period than any other company today.

EY notice period is 90 days with exception for people who joined last year. Not sure before which month
The salary is not compared based on output. But yes there is a huge disparity in pay package in each level

In service based firms we are the hot selling products mate. 😁
So we are one of the main reasons for success in terms of monetary wise also 😎
Same is with me.. 20% comes as a salary for me 70% goes to the company that handles the client
