As a tax manager how do you stop feeling like a factory worker on the line churning out tax returns? Just got an offer for a Sr. AWS DevOps role at 145K, I will be working remotely 100% with maybe 5% travel, if any. No bonus with this company. I have over 8 years of DevOps and AWS, all AWS certs . Should I be asking for more $? Thoughts on the offer and how much more $ I should be asking for ? Current location is kinda irrelevant since I will be working remotely.

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.
