Will KPMG ask for Form 16 and bank statements during the BGV process?

I am a bit concerned because one of my previous employers was a small startup, and they did not provide Form 16 or bank statements. I want to understand whether these documents are mandatory during KPMG’s background verification, or if alternative documents (such as offer letters, experience letters, or payslips) would be sufficient.

I have recently received an offer from HSBC for Data Engineer profile. The designation offered is Senior Analyst- Information Management. They said that it is a techno functional role. Does anyone have an idea about what techno functional role actually is in HSBC? Is it more like a Business Analyst? My prior experience is completely in Technical side. Will this role be suitable for me?
