Yeah, that's the way it works. You have to like all their stuff or you're out of step. Videos of dogs, kids, grandparents, whatever, you're obligated to put in some time every day hitting those like buttons. It's one of the reasons why social media should never include the people you work with.
I think it's the path of least resistance. And it isn't really a lot of effort. I always think it's silly because why do I care about fireworks I didn't even see? But you know, that's social media for you.
Ha I never follow or accept follow requests from coworkers. If I did, I guess I'd probably throw them a pity like. But are people really still posting this stuff?? No one wants to see it. Nor does anyone want to see grainy concert footage taken from 200 rows up.
This is why I don't friend or follow coworkers on social media. I keep my profiles hidden. I don't need to know what my coworkers are doing lol
