If you want a crack at partnership, yes.
Probably not. There were reasons I left consulting for corporate in the first place, such as wlb, stress, travel, etc. Those reasons are unlikely to be materially better in whatever junior-ish role in mind at the moment. I'd rejoin if I got laid off from corporate in order to keep an income, but then I wouldn't want to stay long.
Opposite for me, consulting firm provided less stress and barely any travel. Corporate is more toxic plus politics and no room for upward growth

Hate to break it tonyou but every company has politics and it only gets worse the higher you climb.
I know that but the politics are out of my control as I’m so junior but I’m still being dragged into it. No one is looking out for us
