McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

Men do it all the time
Came here to say this too!
Yes. Most managers do it
Are you kidding? If Trump can be president, I can be CEO of any company I want
Yes, if I think I can figure it out.
There’s always risk in everything. How much faith you place in yourself should be the deciding factor. Can you figure it out? Will you fail? Is staying even more dangerous? All things to consider.

Yes. How do you think I got here? You’re either hired on proof or on potential.
If they offer you the job, they think you're qualified. Possible imposter syndrome?
This. If they say you're qualified, that's the only standard that matters.
Why not. Trump did. Twice!
I wouldn’t set myself up for failure but I would stretch if I thought I could get there. Are you being offered a job and have you honestly portrayed your skills and qualifications? Chances are if they offer it, they think you’re qualified enough.
Agreed. For example if you’re applying for a sr job title that requires you have efficiency in a certain technical program that’s specific to the job title, think adobe creative suite for a creative role or jira. Those assessments are pretty hard to fake it till you make it..

Always. Grow into it.
It's always been sink or swim, baby
I would take it if the company is aware of this and is accepting that I will be learning on the job
Every job I ever had haha, including “parent.”
Already did it!
Yes! Unless you lied during all 8 interviews and genuinely can’t do any of the things they’re asking lol
The fact that they offered you a job means you’re the best fit they’ve interviewed. Take the job!
If it pays well, I can become qualified very quickly.
Dude, no keys can do our jobs. Are you not at least as smart as a monkey?
Rising Star
Depends on how excited I am about the role
What do you mean not qualified? Like you don’t hit all of the points in the job posting? No one would hit every single point on the absolute ideal version of a candidate.
Copywriters can do it for sure, but I won’t if it involves technical skills. For example, if the requirement is proficiency in certain software like Figma, Premiere, and Aftereffect, and I don’t know the software, I am toast the first day on the job. But you can get away with soft skills like management and mentoring!
