Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance

You have to pay for secure parking, just like the 3rd world. Also in the 3rd world if you want a safe neighborhood the area pays for private security or they gate off the neighborhood. We’re still adjusting to our new situation.
Not just you. Crime seems like it has gone up like crazy since covid
Not just here, either! Most of my family is in Canada and EVERYONE who lives in a city has some kind of car breakin experience over the last year. Either they have had their car broken into, they know someone who has, or they've witnessed it happening (the thieves know the police don't care so they do it openly). Inflation is causing crime to skyrocket.
I have noticed and my catalytic converter has been swiped from our vehicles more times then I can count! I have found the best ways to protect my car from break ins is to ensure my vehicle is as empty as it possibly can be. Hoping the emptiness of my vehicle will deter break ins because thieves won’t think my car is worth their time.
My car had been broken into in 2019 and then stolen in 2023. Kia and Hyundai thefts are through the roof nationwide. Switched to a car with a better security system. My new one won't even drive if you dont know my PIN.
Yeah, I live in a sleepy part of East Lake and my GF had her window shattered over a gym bag and the day after someone backed into my car hard enough to shatter my bumper and I wasn’t even parallel parked, I had a spot with plenty of clearance.
You just can't leave ANYTHING AT ALL in the vehicle. We had to learn the hard way (twice) and we've parked on the street with no problems since.
Yeah I just grew up in a place where you could leave literally anything in your car and not think twice. Leave an engagement ring from Tiffany’s on the passenger seat and go have a 3 hour happy hour, totally fine.
It’s really depressing living in a place where I have to assume everyone I walk by is potentially a PoS criminal.
