I am at a career standpoint where i am really confused what to do.
I have 4+ yoe in RPA .I really dont think its sustainable as a career .I am willing to learn and move into something different.
But what i am really confused is how would i manage to switch jobs without any prior experience?
I already earn 13-15 lpa,why would anyone offer me same level of package without experience?
People who do a successful career switch, please share your stories. In need of some motivation

At Amazon, what is the difference between a Program Manager and Technical Program Manager? It looks like the Technical one gets paid about 25% more but not sure what roles/responsibilities they do differently. Amazon
Also how technical a background does someone need for a Technical Program Manager role?

curious how much you’re current comp is in that role? and why would you want to switch
ah ok! that makes sense. i think the pivot would be relatively easy. you could leverage the marketing aspect from your current role and working with marketing firms. then maybe doing a course on product work or have a good back pocket story as to why you want to change
Hi… I moved from Product Marketing to Account Manager… happy to chat about my past life. I’m sure I can pick up some pointers from you in Account management 🙂
I moved from being an Account Strategist at Google to Product Marketing! I specifically was on that ads sales team so I knew a lot about digital marketing through that and used the that knowledge to position myself well. I went through the APMM program which made it more of a straightforward process but I think you could use that knowledge to apply directly to various marketing roles as well
You can contact me ,i interested
I made a similar move. Spending time with product marketing teams to understand all the varieties PM entails was critical. I raised my hand to help on their projects and networked constantly.
I also have an MBA with a marketing concentration. Find a way to show you are a continuous learner and are working towards a career in marketing, not just an exit from sales.
would any of the google people here be interested in a coffee chat with me? i would love to get in touch! nyc based but open to a phone call :)
