I am a manual tester with 7 yoe, I am looking to move to some specialized testing like automation, etl or performance.

Which specialization is better and has scope for the future? Would be helpful if you could suggest the tool, course or certification to take

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

Can anyone offer insight into the annualized equivalent compensation of contract consulting gigs in B4 vs the equivalent FT positions?

Higher offers at 27-28 with more fixed pay is from contract and hire/fire type companies. Mostly indirect hiring instead of direct employment with the final employer, means higher pay with lower jon security - we get little more pay, companies get the option to let go with ease later!
