OP, very few people here would vote for Bernie because consultants are up there with some of the highest paid people. 98% of people are not coming out of undergrad with 75k a year job. Half of American workers make less than 30k a year and a study by the Federal Reserve has shown that 40% of Americans don't even have $400 to cover an emergency expense. (Please Google these if in doubt)
The bottom line is that while the stock market is going up, a large portion of Americans are not doing well. This is why we got Trump and why Bernie is surging. Trump promised to bring jobs back. He says we're being screwed. If we don't find a way to fix this soon it will only get worse and I don't just mean financially for people. There is a reason why these programs were started and why it's said that FDR may have saved capitalism. The problem is our politicians today due to SC rulings are allowed to fund their campaigns to be elected by taking money from people who do have money and do not want major change unless it benefits them. I really am worried for this country.

You are crazy if you think I’d vote for a socialist. I don’t work 60+ hour weeks to pay for someone to not work. There isn’t a single Dem right now that could convince me to vote for them. I ain’t putting someone in office who wants to raise my taxes higher than they already are.
Modern Monetary Theory is what underlies virtually all of Bernie’s plans. The more you understand that, the more crazy it all seems.

OP. It sounds like you have lousy insurance. My wife and I are out less than that including insurance premiums and our out of pocket expenses for 2019 which included neck surgery to fuse 2 vertebrae. And none of the charges were disputed.

Let me just add I’m left leaning but i really am questioning the intellect of these Dems that are running. Knowing that Donald’s key asset is the booming economy this Dem messaging of hating rich people and taxing the hell out of everyone is not smart, in fact it’s dumb. Warren, Buttigieg and Sanders are going to send the markets into a tailspin and Bloomberg is going create a stop and frisk police state with no sodas bigger than 12oz...My ethics wont allow me to vote for Trump but my brain and pockets won’t allow me to vote Dem
