What exactly does a "Knowledge Attorney" do at firms that have them? My firm doesn't have such a thing, so I'm not sure if it's an opportunity worth pursuing or not. I'm definitely not interested if it's comparable to the Conflict Attorney role which is essentially dead end.

Per SHRM, I was just curious if any HR Professionals completely removed the following fields: social security number, recommend salary, graduation dates, military discharge info, race, maiden name like (Ms. Mrs. Ms), & criminal history questions. Started a new job 2 weeks ago and can’t shake the feeling that I suck- is this normal new kid jitters?

I used to care about and chase the opportunity to produce cool/fun/funny work. But, as of the last couple years..it’s just more about stability, keeping working relationships happy, building finances, i.e. it’s just a job. Not about pushing for the most fun creative ideas—I still do that—I just don’t care enough to fight as much if they don’t get it. Definitely still feel genuinely defeated when truly awesome concepts get glossed over by a client who has no clue what they want.
