Yup. I’ve been in orgs where new “strategic” initiatives roll in faster than we can finish the last round of work. Everyone’s excited at first, then confused, then checked out. This piece on strategy fatigue really captured that cycle. I’d love to hear how other PMs are dealing with this - do you push back or just try to survive the chaos?

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. Hi guys, I got an offer from x and i discussed that with my current. At 1st current said they can only give 30% increment. I said I can't stay with this cause i got 70% and expect at least 50%(as the 70% included VP and the current org don't have vp, they have bonus). Then they said they can do max 45%. I really wanted to stay here so I said okay to current. Then now hr called me and said they are matching the offer(no vp). What should I make out of it? What made them change their mind?

I will be relocating out of state from NY to FL in December. My current role does not allow flexibility to work remote and our offices in FL have no tech roles for transfer.
