Can we talk about what job interviewing has become? Video screen, recruiter screen, hiring manager, panel, stakeholder chat… and then surprise, a presentation!

After all that, the feedback is sometimes, “not data-driven enough.” Fair, data matters. But so does judgment, context, EQ, and lived HR experience.

As a Gen Xer being interviewed by someone my kids’ age, I have to laugh. Sometimes experience is the data. Anyone else feel interviewing is a full-time job without the paycheque?
