I applied somewhere and had an interview but at the end of it the employer told me she had to train a couple of her people first. She sounded like she was inundated because her front desk couldn’t work for her. She said that she’ll see where she’s at in a month. It’s been almost a month. The position looks like it’s still open, is it wrong for me to call to see if she’s hired anyone for that role?

I have got an offer for Malaysia from HTC Global for 42 LPA in Indian currency. I have got an offer from alstom, Bangalore in hand as well for 27 LPA. I think if I get an offer in India for around 32-35 LPA, i should prefer staying in India but I need 1-2 months of time to be in that position. HTC is pushing for sending passport as they need to get it stamped. Any suggestions from anyone on how to handle this scenario?
