I had a good initial chat with a recruiter, and they asked for my availability for next steps. I sent my availability to them promptly, and that was a week ago. No calendar invite, no email, no nothing on my end to indicate the process is even still moving. Is this just standard hiring process slowness, or should I be reading into it?

Ex-consultant now in marketing. Used to be an avid follower here and got great insights on companies when trying to exit consulting so thought I’d try here for advice. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.

Today I messed up doing a delivery. The client was expecting the supplies at 3pm in the warehouse, however, there was an accident on the highway and traffic was insane.
