What is something you wish you'd known on day one?

How likely are more layoffs before this year ends? Just wondering, with all the tech layoffs in news.

I'm looking for referrals as a Manager or Senior Manager in IT Audit (or Tech Risk Assurance). Open to both industry and consulting in the DFW area or remote. I truly appreciate all referrals.

How is it working in smaller firms for IT auditing? Is it mainly just IA work? Does the quality differ from B4?
